Be your own publisher!
With ComicBuilder you can publish your comics on the iPhone as standalone applications.
The iPhone application created will be published on the AppStore under YOUR name or company.
Usage is extremely simple:
- Put all your comics pictures in a folder. The picture should be in JPG or PNG, and should be numbered. You can have 999 pictures in each comic book;
- Put in this folder a picture which will be the iPhone application icon;
- Start ComicBuilder on the Macintosh and enter the name of the application to create;
- Choose the folder containing all your pictures;
- Result is an iPhone app, created automatically;
- You can now install this application on your iPhone or publish it on the AppStore.
Since this application will be published under YOUR name, you should be registered on the AppStore. We will assist you setting up your account on the AppStore.
The iPhone app created has the following features:
- Navigation between the pages can be done with the swipe of a finger or by just tapping the screen on the left or on the right.
- An automatic mode will display every page, with a 10 seconds pause between each picture.
- If you quit the application, or if you receive a phone call, the current page is stored and you will resume reading when the app is restarted.
- Just tapping the screen makes the navigation bar appear. It will disappear after 5 seconds
This innovative solution allows you to publish your work directly, bypassing intermediaries: you are your own publisher.
